El Porton restaurant (Colonia Main Street)Delicious, traditional Parrilla lunch: Chorizo, Morcilla, Chinchulin, Asado, Pamplona de Polla, and Papas Fritas! Maybe even be treated to a local artist playing Uruguayan folk music! Please take care of the “local” dogs! Muy Rico!

This place is highly reviewed for a reason. Super quality parrilla in Colonia with an awesome atmosphere, friendly staff, and great food. Absolutely recommend anything from the grill.
This is the one place several locals recommended. So I tried it and it didn’t disappoint. Asado was good and the have a great list of wines available. I would definitely come back.
