I visited Candilejas for lunch with friends. Simple dishes but tasty. Prices are moderate. The service is very good.Candilejas is located far from the touristic area. However, it is a restaurant we visit frequently.
Dinner with another couple. Nice environment. Reservation was ok. Service is very good. do not expect for a refined place, rather go for good food at reasonable prices. No problems park your car, no problems awating for your table. Continues to be an excellent option.
Candilejas is a neighborhood restaurant. It is a casual place to eat and the ambiance is rather humble. The service was friendly and good and the food was good. They serve meats , seafood, pastas, salads and the menu is constantly changing .
Good food,big portions, accesible prices for Punta del Este,they offer many options of menus at $ 350.00(U$S 12.00)consisting of an entree plus main dish plus desert,nice familiar atmosphere,4 kms. away from city centre.
