I went for breakfast one day in Khiva to Bir Gumbaz. The tea house is in the historical centre and the prices are slightly higher but the service and the food were decent. I had to let with yea and it was good.
Per recent reviews, this place is a rip-off. 50,000 som for two cups of tea and two pieces of cake. No advertised prices (as is common), so ordered on good faith.

This was a basic and interesting restaurant that provided simple food that was quite tasty.The service was friendly and the outdoor area a pleasant place to watch the people go by. Like most places the cost was low.
We visited for a late lunch and it was a nice place to relax for a little and people watch. The service was good, food served quickly and the prices were very good. 10% service charge.
Quality and quantity were disapointing especially for such expensive price. Don’t make the same mistake we did and go somewhere else.
