About
It is very clean and unpretentious, but with delicious food and a modest, but varied wine selection, including a house wine by the glass. Chi Nghia has been a professional chef for over a quarter of a century since graduating from Hanoi's College for Cooking in 1979. Her experience includes many years leading the Asian Kitchen at the famous Sofitel Metropole, Hanoi's first five star hotel. There she often prepared meals for visiting celebrities and dignitaries, including U.S. President Bill Clinton, who was so impressed that he came into the kitchen to personally shake Chi Nghia's hand. Despite her gourmet credentials, Chi Nghia's preference has always been for the simple yet delicious dishes characteristic of Vietnamese cuisine.
