About
Tonkin (Vietnamese: Bac Ky), also spelled Tongkin, Tonquin or Tongking, is the northernmost part of Vietnam, west of the Gulf of Tonkin. "Tonkin" is a corruption of Dong Kinh (東京), the name of Hanoi during the Le Dynasty. Tonkin Nha Trang serves some of (many) Hanoi's specialties such as "Cha ca La Vong" (Hanoi-Style Fish w/ Turmeric & Dill), "Bun cha" (Hanoi-Style Vermicelli w/ Grilled Pork), "Nem ran" (Spring Rolls) as well as fusion foods which satisfy the taste buds of tourists from all over world. Since we share large dining space with some other restaurants, please be aware of different menus or bills presented simultaneously. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Enjoy your trip here in Nha Trang!
