I ate more than one meal here and found it great! The menu had all the local favorites along with western selections ie. pizza, pasta and sandwich. Location nearby some of the Hotels within walking distance and go for the 5000VND advertised local tap beer.
Following the advice of trip advisor fellow foodies, we came to Chum. We were not sorry we did! The Banh Xeo and Cao Lau were divine. In fact the Banh Xeo we tried earlier in our trip (in HCMC) did not even compare! Highly recommended!
We went out of our way to go for lunch just to sample more of their spring rolls. Best spring rolls I have tasted anywhere in Vietnam. The rest of the food was good value, but not fantastic. Chicken cordon blue was quite good too.
We went to Chum for dinner and it was overall ok. The food was not outstanding but for the price we paid ok. If you want a proper meal for a decent price go here. Don’t expect something fancy.
Nothing special. Our curry was more like a soup without special taste. Green mango salad very average. I guess you can find better places in Hoi An.
I was happy to find a restaurant with lots of vegetarian options! The food was very good, as was the tea. Also, the woman working there was very sweet and attentive. I’ll definitely return here the next time I’m in Hoi An!
