Pies N Thighs is a fantastic spot for brunch in Brooklyn. For my Superbowl, I got the collard greens, breakfast sausage, green salad and biscuit. Everything was delicious and so satisfying. I especially loved the flaky, buttery biscuit which was all kinds of amazing with honey butter. My friends also loved the fried chicken and maple syrup on waffles. The fried chicken reminded me of a Korean style chicken as the batter was light and crispy without the usual greasiness. Inside, the meat was still moist and tender. The dish came with a dollop of cinnamon butter and cooked strawberries. I doubted the meat and fruit combination initially but was proven wrong; the strawberry complemented the chicken well. Service was solid, and our server was pretty friendly. The sweet pies and doughnuts spread in the counter display were gorgeous and we were tempted to try them bit didn’t have room. Would love to return for another brekky and chance to sample the sweet treats
