My family and I were here recently on a food tour of the neighborhood. Even though I had just one slice of pizza here, it left a big impression by virtue of its outstanding quality and flavor. They use only the best ingredients here and it shows. The combination of buffalo mozzarella and prosciutto de Parma was perfect. They make some top quality pizza here and I will make a point to drop in for a full pie next time I happen to be in the vicinity. A true standout pizza place in a city that takes its pizza seriously!

Came into the city for lunch…looking for a non touristy place for wood fired pizza. This was the spot! Decor, service and food was great!!! Pizza was delicious, well made and perfectly cooked. Will return for dinner!

A restaurant with a small bar and two dining areas. The dining area closest to the entry is smaller, but better lit than the one in the back. The vibe is always lively and patrons tend to enjoy their time here. We’ve been to Emporio several times and the food fluctuates in quality. The pizzas are always fantastic, but everything else is inconsistent. On this visit, the croquettes were crispy and flavorful, with a cheese, basil, and tomato sauce filling. My ragu pasta had way too much carrots and celery. The pasta itself was fine, but there were too many things going on. Almost a salad rather than a pasta. My companion’s gnudi pasta was pleasantly aromatic, I could smell it across the table. Ricotta filling with chanterelle mushrooms and specks of black truffle. The wine by the glass should be skipped, as it’s generally in bad condition. The wine by the bottle tends to be better, but the extra expense isn’t worth it if wine isn’t your thing. Service is always pleasant, attentive, and moves at a decent pace.
