  • 4 skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 dried chiles de arbol, crushed
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 2 bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • Flour tortillas
  • Guacamole, pico de gallo, and sour cream for serving


  • In a bowl, whisk together lime juice, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, crushed chiles de arbol, salt, and black pepper.
  • Place the chicken strips in the marinade and let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the marinated chicken until it is no longer pink inside. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest before slicing it into strips.
  • In the same skillet, sauté the sliced bell peppers and onion in oil. Season with salt and cook until they are tender and caramelized, about 7-10 minutes.
  • Serve the sliced chicken alongside the sautéed peppers and onions, with warm flour tortillas and your choice of guacamole, pico de gallo, and sour cream.
