  • Vanilla Instant Pudding Mix: 1 package (3.4 ounces or 96g)
  • Pure Vanilla Extract: 1 teaspoon (5 ml)
  • Sugar: 1/2 cup (100g) for filling, plus more for dusting
  • Optional for garnish: Melted Chocolate or Powdered Sugar

Method

  • Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a medium saucepan, boil 1 cup of water with 1/2 cup of unsalted butter and 1/4 teaspoon of salt.
  • Add 1 cup of all-purpose flour to the boiling mixture all at once, stirring vigorously. Cook and stir until the mixture forms a ball and pulls away from the sides of the pan.
